April 1Exotic Petting Zoo in the garden and an April Fool’s favourite – allay

Come on in for our Exotic Petting Zoo in the garden, all day on April 1. And whilst you’re there, take part in our April Fool’s Day game. Buying a drink at the bar? Toss the coins. Two heads – your drink is free. Head and tail – normal price. Two tails – you pay double. Will you take the challenge?

April 7 – Super Fun Hot Curry Club from 6.00pm

The boys in the kitchen are weaving their magic again with our renowned Curry Club night. On the first Monday of every month, head to The Duck for trivia and a bit of spice in your life with delicious curries.

April 9 – Tasting Tap Takeover Paddles – 6.30pm to 8.00pm

Our tap takeover for April is Lord Nelson – Three Sheets, Old Admiral, Double Nelson and Victory Bitter on tap. So if you’ve always wanted to try these beers and meet the Brewer, head down on April 9 for Tasting Tap Takeover. Lord Nelson’s Head Brewer will be chatting from 6.30 − 8.00pm.

April 10 – Tapas Night from 7.00pm

For one night only, our Chefs have gone all Spanish (there may even be a Flamenco dress or two!) For $45.00 pp, you can dine on four courses of delicious tapas style shared plates. Served like traditional tapas should be on a communal table, you can sip on Sangria for $15 a jug or taste one of the special Spanish wines we are getting in specially for the occasion. So book now for a Spanish feast fiesta! Ole! Here’s the tapas feast:

  • Marinated olives in chili and red wine chorizo sausages with toasted bread.
  • Spanish meatballs in tomato sauce and garlic and butter pan roasted button mushrooms.
  • Traditional paella served with grilled Spanish vegetables.
  • Spanish churros and crème caramel to finish.

April 12 – This little Duckie went to Market from 9.30am to 12.00pm

With such a great vibe for our last two markets, we have planned the next three, so pop these dates in your diary – April 12, May 17 and June 14. It’s a cool place to check out the stalls, grab yourself a bacon and egg roll and a coffee and hang out with other fun people (and dogs!) Freshly squeezed juices (very healthy) made by our smiling bar staff will make a great start to the day. Open from 9.30am until 12.30pm. (VIDEO)

April 22 – Courtyard Belly Laugh Series from 7.00pm

On April 22, join us for a night of laughs in the courtyard as we watch Seinfeld. Bring your partner, bestie or pooch and hang out, have a meal and watch Seinfeld outdoors. Wireless earphones provided! From 7.00pm.

April 25 – ANZAC Day from midday

If last year is anything to go by, you all love a bit of 2-UP teamed with a longneck and pies,  on Anzac Day. And what fun it will be!

Join the 2-UP ring and commemorate this day. Salute the diggers with a toast on April 25 from midday. Feast on Aussie favourites like pies, sausage rolls, steak sambas and sausage sangas.  Head ’em up.
