Looking for somewhere to escape the wintery weather? At The Duck Inn, we are all about the Winter Warmers.
- All day every day – Mulled Cider or Winter Pimms
- June 11 to 15 – “Burgers and Bordeaux”
- June 21 – Winter Solstice
- June 25 – Jack’s Hot Curry Club from 6.00pm
- Mitch’s Winter warming pies feature on the menu everyday
- Sunday Roasts – every Sunday for lunch and dinner
- Jack’s Soupa Special Soups
- Duck Trivia every Monday night
Grab a group of friends, come snuggle up at the bar with a Mulled Cider or Winter Pimms ($10 each) and play a game of Scrabble or Jenga. What a great way to while away a chilly afternoon! And if you are a bit peckish, check out Jack’s Soupa Special Soups or Mitch’s scrumptious winter pies to keep the cold at bay.
From June 11 to 15, bring in that someone special, or just bring in your best mate for our winter warmer offer – 2 Burgers and a bottle of Bordeaux for only $60. The burgers come with our own house seasoned fries ( and you can’t stop at one!)
Spend a lazy Sunday having a long Sunday Roast lunch with your family or friends at The Duck. From a shoulder of lamb, to roast beef or pork, Mitch’s Sunday Roasts will warm your tummy and your soul. Call us to book as it is getting a little popular now and we don’t want you to miss out!
Come celebrate the shortest day of the year – Winter Solstice – with us on June 21. What better way to cheer in the lead up to summer (ok, that’s a bit of a stretch but…….at least we will be on our way towards summer!) by having a drink in the courtyard under our heaters. Keep toasty on the inside!
If you want to really spice up your life and get hot, come along to Jack’s Hot Curry Club on June 25 from 6.00pm. If you are a curry lover, this is one NOT to miss! It will definitely keep those winter blues away.
And for all our sports fans out there, we love the Rugby too so come on in and cheer the Wallabies or the Waratahs during June when they play. We will have it on the big screens in the bar!
Hi guys. Love the blog. Suggestion: Could you add your phone number to the masthead or somewhere where it’ll be easy to find? Also, just rang (found the number elsewhere) twice and phone rung out. Sunday 2:18pm.
Hi Suzi
Not good to hear about the phone ringing out. It was a bit manic here on Sunday but no excuse.
Thanks for your feedback on the blog and the location of the phone number. Re:the phone number – I have just added it to the masthead.
Is there anything we can help with or were you able to get hold of one of us?
Thanks again
From the team at The Duck Inn
Hey there! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could get a captcha plugin for my
comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having
difficulty finding one? Thanks a lot!
Hi there
No problem being off topic!
I haven’t been able to locate one either – it would be handy though.
Sorry not much help.
